How OptiFit handles your data.
Your personal entries are processed locally. Understand the differences between app storage, backups and recipients you choose yourself.
Personal content
Profile, nutrition, fasting, training, body measurements and saved progress photos reside in the local encrypted database. Temporary drafts, settings and diagnostic logs must be considered separately. Core features do not require a user account.
Sharing you initiate
With export, backup or sharing, you decide when a file leaves private app storage. Portable backups and food/recipe sharing are not encrypted full backups. They contain no progress photos. A protected full backup includes photos and requires the original installation’s key.
File recipients and storage you choose may process the files themselves. Deleting in OptiFit does not remove their copies.
Technical libraries
OptiFit uses Google ML Kit for barcode recognition. Google’s data information lists technical diagnostics and installation identifiers. The final package and its network behaviour must be reviewed together before a binding store declaration.
Website, store and contact
This website is provided through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites. Our page code uses no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, persistent browser storage or external fonts. We do not create usage or advertising profiles from website visits.
Launch notification, beta registration and support forms are currently closed. They do not accept new addresses or messages.
When open forms are used, we limit abusive requests. The website temporarily stores cryptographically pseudonymised identifiers, used verification identifiers and timestamps in a Sites database. That database contains no email addresses, messages or health data. The longest quotas expire 48 hours after the last counted form attempt; bounded maintenance jobs remove expired records. Closing a form does not by itself remove existing protection records. Binding retention periods and the operation of deletion jobs remain subject to the required review.
Your controls
You can delete individual content or all local data and revoke permissions in system settings. Back up needed data first. Copies and purchases outside OptiFit are not removed or cancelled by a local reset.
