Remove all local app data
In OptiFit, open “Settings” → “Privacy & Data” → “Delete all data”. Read the consequences and confirm both prompts. Create any backup you need first.
The app schedules a reset and restarts. If it does not restart automatically, close OptiFit completely and reopen it. Deletion is complete only when first-run setup appears. On failure, use remains blocked until cleanup is successfully retried.
What the reset removes
It removes the active local database with your profile, entries, training data and progress photos, app settings, internal backups, drafts, local logs and temporary files. Local reminders and associated tasks are stopped.
The installation key is retained to restore existing protected backups. Forensic removal of every storage remnant is not guaranteed.
Individual photos and older backups
You can delete individual photos in the progress view. Minimal technical mutation records remain until cleanup; they are valid for at most 30 days. The app cleans up expired records during subsequent operations.
Older full backups may still contain deleted photos and bring them back on restoration. Remove those backups as well if you do not want to retain the copies they contain.
What remains outside OptiFit
Original images in your library, screenshots, external backups, downloads and shared copies must be deleted at their storage destination or by the recipient. Permissions and Google Play purchases are managed separately.
After uninstalling or resetting app data through the operating system, the installation key is missing. Protected full backups can no longer be restored.
Request about email or contact data
Email the contact below with the subject “OptiFit – Privacy request”. Identify the contact interaction and your request. Initially, send no health data, photos, backups or identity document.
Johann Prestel checks what data is actually held and whether proportionate identity verification is needed. Legal retention duties or other lawful grounds may prevent immediate deletion; you will be informed. Your local app entries cannot be accessed from here.
